Friday, April 24th – Monday, April 27th, 2020

Once registered, you will receive additional information regarding schedule, gear, lodging and more. Feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions before registering.

*Flights, lodging, transportation, food/alcohol and park fees are not included in this price. Though I am often known to be carrying an abundance of snacks that I love to share!

Join me and Steve Schwindt for 4 days in photographer heaven. We will bounce back and forth between Washington and Oregon photographing some of the areas most amazing locations. We have timed this workshop to perfectly line up with amazing wildflower blooms, intense waterfalls flows and dark milky way skies!

There will be no set schedule as we will use the weather forecast to adjust our itinerary and provide you with the best chance of epic shots! Every day might look something like this: wake up early to shoot sunrise over fields of wildflowers. After sunrise we will head off to explore several of the PNW biggest and best waterfalls. A break for lunch and then we're off again to shoot sunset, followed with a sky full of stars!

Instructors: Ross Schram von Haupt & Steve Schwindt

Group Size: 6 students

Price: $1150 ($500 due at registration to reserve your spot)

Activity level and Difficulty: Medium to Hard

Please note: This is a physically challenging workshop. We will be very active and some of the waterfalls we visit involve steep, slippery hikes. It may also be recommended to wade into streams to find the best compositions. Our longest hike would be around 4 miles round trip with 800ft of elevation gain. Because of the difficulty of this workshop, we need to make sure that everyone who signs up feels confident in their physical abilities.

Workshop (Estimated) Start and End Times

The workshop will begin in Hood River on Friday afternoon for a brief intro meeting before heading out for sunset. The workshop will end around midday Monday.
